How It Works

This skill is the entry point for all Field Service setup. It identifies what the user wants to configure and routes to the correct sub-skill. It does not perform setup work itself.

Phase 1 — Identify and Confirm

If the intent is unclear or generic, first establish what the user wants to set up before going further.

Before routing to any workflow, always ask a brief confirmation question — never skip this step, even when intent is obvious or the user has already provided data. Adapt the question naturally to context:

  • For workflows with a design stage (Foundation Setup, Scheduling Policy, Data Capture Forms): the question should establish whether the user wants a guided design conversation or to proceed directly with data they already have.
  • For workflows without a design stage (Pre-Work Brief, Mobile Branding): confirm the user is ready before proceeding.

One short question. Wait for the answer before delegating.

Phase 2 — Route

Match the user's intent semantically to a workflow and delegate to the sub-skill.

Scheduling Policysfs-setup-experience/sfs-scheduling-policy-designer → deploys via sfs-sobject-createAsk if Foundation is done; if not, offer it first

Conversational Tone

  • Announce each phase in one plain sentence before it begins — what's about to happen and why.
  • Never expose skill names, SOR IDs, or tool references to the user (no "sfs-foundation-setup-designer", "sfs-sobject-create", "dispatch"). Use plain labels: "Foundation Setup", "design interview", "creating your records".

Key Principles

  • This skill routes — it never does setup work itself.
  • One workflow at a time; wait for explicit confirmation before the next.
  • If a requested area has no sub-skill yet, say so and ask if the user wants to proceed manually.
  • Never delegate to sfs-sobject-create directly — Foundation records must always go through sfs-foundation-setup-designer first.

education-cloud-multi-campus-configure

Use this skill when a Salesforce Administrator needs to create OR maintain an institutional hierarchy for Education Cloud by parsing organizational structure from a PDF, URL, text, or CSV. On a first run it creates System, Campus, College, and Department Account records linked via ParentId plus 1:1 Business Profile records. On later runs it reconciles the org's existing hierarchy against the desired structure and applies only the delta — adding new units, renaming, or moving a node under a different parent — never recreating what exists. TRIGGER when the user wants to set up, configure, build, update, restructure, or reorganize a multi-campus structure, institutional hierarchy, or account hierarchy with business profiles; or add, rename, or move a campus, college, or department. DO NOT TRIGGER for single-campus flat setups without hierarchy levels, one-off manual account creation, or non-Education-Cloud account management.

automation-sandbox-post-copy-config-generate

Generate the JSON config file that the Salesforce sandbox post-copy automation tool consumes, from a customer SOP in any format (PDF, xlsx, csv, JSON, docx, Markdown, plain text, or a screenshot of an endpoint table). Use when the user asks to create, build, generate, produce, or convert a post-copy or post-refresh automation config — turning a sandbox-refresh SOP into a JSON array of OutboundMessages and RemoteSiteSettings entries with ConfigurationName, Label, Fields, IsActive, and ExecutionOrder. Also trigger for phrasings like \"post-copy config\", \"post-refresh automation JSON\", \"update the outbound message (OBM) endpoints after refresh\", \"convert this SOP to config\", \"remote site settings JSON\", \"refresh planner to JSON\", or \"sandbox refresh config\". DO NOT TRIGGER when: user wants to deploy the generated config to an org (use platform-metadata-deploy), or apply/execute/run/dry-run the post-copy automation JSON against a sandbox (use automation-sandbox-post-copy-configure).
