Facts
Give the smallest useful briefing about the work under discussion or just completed. Include only facts that change implementation, integration, risk, maintenance, or user behavior. Pair each fact with its consequence when it is not obvious. Assume the reader is technically capable but new to the effort.
Do not produce a general research report or repeat the conversation. Prefer five or fewer terse bullets unless omitting another fact would mislead the reader.
