01 / AI INFRASTRUCTURE AND ACQUISITIONS

Stripe agrees to acquire OpenRouter and enter the model-routing layer

Stripe agreed to acquire OpenRouter, the neutral gateway that routes AI workloads across more than 400 models from over 80 providers. The companies did not disclose financial terms in their announcement. Stripe said the combination will help customers optimize requests across model quality, speed, reliability, and price while linking those decisions to products such as Token Billing.

OpenRouter will bring a developer base and a live routing layer used by companies including Nvidia, Zoom, and Lovable. The transaction extends Stripe's role beyond collecting revenue for AI businesses into managing a major variable on the cost side: how scarce inference capacity is selected and consumed.

02 / ENTERPRISE AI PRIVACY AND SAFETY

OpenAI previews cross-session safety monitoring without breaking zero retention

OpenAI introduced Private Safety Processing, an early system designed to detect risky patterns across related frontier-model interactions while preserving Zero Data Retention commitments. Eligible API customers can keep content on infrastructure they control, or use OpenAI storage encrypted with customer-controlled keys. Automated systems return narrowly defined risk signals without exposing prompts or responses to OpenAI personnel.

03 / ORBITAL AI INFRASTRUCTURE AND CAPITAL

Muon Space raises $250 million to scale orbital infrastructure

Muon Space closed an oversubscribed $250 million Series C led by Eclipse Capital, with Google, Salesforce Ventures, Wellington Management, and others participating. The round brings total equity funding above $386 million. Muon plans to expand constellation production, dual-use spacecraft platforms, advanced payloads, on-orbit AI compute, and high-bandwidth satellite connectivity, after deploying 11 satellites across six launches.

04 / CODING AGENTS AND COLLABORATION

Slack turns coding-agent work into shared project channels

Slack launched collaborative code channels that let teams summon agents, review generated changes, preview web output, and approve work in a shared project space. Integrations include Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, and Vercel Agent. Slack says the channels preserve conversational context and audit history, then archive automatically when an assignment is complete.

05 / AI ASSISTANTS AND DESKTOP PRODUCTS

Meta AI lands on Mac with screen context and cross-app dictation

Meta released a dedicated Mac app for Meta AI that can use a shared window as context and provide dictation across applications. The desktop launch accompanies new business connections for Instagram and Facebook accounts, Meta advertising campaigns, and Google Workspace. Meta AI can analyze campaign performance, suggest content, create documents and presentations, and produce recurring updates.

06 / AI PRODUCTS AND EDUCATION

Google adds quizzes, notebooks, and generated study files to Search

Google expanded AI-powered learning features in Search with interactive visuals, custom practice quizzes, notebooks inside AI Mode, and generated study documents built from uploaded material. Quizzes cover general subjects and major standardized tests. Several features are available globally in English, while a Lens tutoring experience is scheduled to roll out over the coming weeks.

07 / AGENTIC FINANCE AND DEVELOPER TOOLS

Binance opens trading and payments infrastructure to AI agents

Binance Agent OS combines an MCP server, APIs, wallets, payments, and reusable skills so agents can read markets, track portfolios, settle transactions, and trade within user-configured permissions. Dedicated subaccounts provide the primary containment boundary, with withdrawals blocked by default.

08 / ROBOTICS AND PHYSICAL AI

Intel finds robot ambition running ahead of operational readiness

An Intel-commissioned survey of 800 senior leaders across six countries found 60% expect to run robot fleets within five years, but only 40% have a formal human-robot workforce strategy. Safety, skills, standards, and edge infrastructure remain common barriers to scaling.

09 / AGENT INFRASTRUCTURE AND GOVERNANCE

AgentCore Web Search adds runtime domain and date controls

AWS added per-call domain allowlists, denylists, and publication-date filters to AgentCore Web Search connector 1.2.0. Runtime requests can narrow, but never expand, administrator policies; results without verifiable domains or dates are excluded when those filters are active.

10 / MODELS AND EDGE INFERENCE

Liquid AI releases 4-bit LFM2.5 checkpoints trained for quantization

Liquid AI released QAD Q4_0 checkpoints for four LFM2.5 models from 230 million to 2.6 billion parameters. Its benchmarks show the releases retaining roughly 96.5% to 97.4% of BF16 performance while preserving native Q4_0 memory and speed characteristics.

11 / PRODUCTIVITY AGENTS AND MEETINGS

Calendly pairs an email scheduling agent with meeting notes

Calendly introduced Callie in beta and launched Notetaker for English-language accounts. Callie coordinates meetings from email threads and answers questions about prior conversations, while Notetaker records supported calls, produces transcripts, summaries, action items, and draft follow-ups.
