Worked case: investigate one sound-pan function
Original worked investigation tracing caller arguments and constant bytes to one sound-pan calculation. The source records 3,205 function-level comparisons and a separate 63-byte compiler replay.

Example output
Recorded source operations:
analyze_function: procedure 0x406400
analyze_function: procedure 0x411f40
read_bytes: address 0x420068, length 16
000000000000f93f0000000000407f40
read_bytes: address 0x4210a0, length 8
000000000000f03f
Source interpretation: input x × 1.5625 − 500.0, multiplied by the stored scale, then converted to an integer.License

Product overview
REA is an MCP server and command-line toolkit that connects coding agents to local software inspection and reverse-engineering tools.
What REA offers
- 01Inspect native binaries with configured analysis providers
- 02Trace JavaScript and Electron application structure
- 03Read instructions, references and runtime observations
- 04Return evidence and limitations for agent-led investigations
What makes it different
It exposes inspection tools to a coding agent; the agent interprets the evidence. Native analysis depends on supported installed providers and target access. Published function-level examples do not establish complete application reconstruction.
Who should consider it
- Developers investigating software they are authorized to inspect
- Engineers tracing a specific local feature or behavior
What to verify
- Try one real task and compare its output with your requirements.
- Check what data the service stores, shares, or uses for training.
- Confirm current pricing, usage limits, and cancellation terms on the official site.
